Singer and songwriter Paul Simon has sued musical clock distributor Rhythm USA over the use of his signature song “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.
Mr. Simon filed suit in US Federal Court in Manhattan, claiming that Rhythm USA had not obtained permission to sell wall clocks that play his famous tune. He claims the company has made millions of dollars infringing on his copyright, and is seeking 19 million US dollars in damages.
