As a women I found that the Recumbent exercise bikes are be more beneficial to me. The term recumbent means lying down. Not only is the recumbent seating position easier on the back but, the support it gives is also a great benefit. This particular bike has less strain on the arms, neck and shoulders than an upright bike.
This style bike does not take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination and provides an effective workout for all levels of users. Using an exercise bike of this nature makes it easy to stick to a long-term program.
